Collado ("we", "our", "the app") connects marketing managers with social media influencers for advertising campaigns. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Influencers sign up by providing their Instagram username or YouTube channel, email address, phone number, and password. If you complete a campaign, we also store the address and bank account details (account number, IFSC code, beneficiary name) you provide for payment, along with videos and Instagram reel or YouTube links you submit. For YouTube creators, we also fetch your channel title, subscriber count, and average view count directly from YouTube's API to display on your profile and match you to relevant campaigns. We do not currently connect to Instagram's API in any way — Instagram usernames are self-reported at signup, not read from Instagram.
Marketing managers, who sign up directly, provide a username, email, phone number, company name, and company details.
Marketing managers can also sign in with Google or Apple instead of a password. If you do, Google or Apple shares your name, your email address (for Apple, possibly a private relay address if you choose to hide your email) and a unique account identifier with us. We use these only to create your account and sign you in, and we do not request or access any other Google or Apple data such as your contacts, files, calendar or email.
For all users, we store the campaigns, quotes, chat messages, and payment records generated through normal use of the app, and — if you enable notifications — a device token used solely to deliver them.
We use this information to operate the app: matching influencers to campaigns based on follower count, processing payments, enabling communication between managers, influencers, and our support team, and sending you notifications about your campaigns.
We do not sell your information to third parties.
Passwords are one-way hashed (bcrypt) and are never stored or visible in readable form, including to us. Data is stored in a managed Postgres database; uploaded videos and files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
We use YouTube's Data API (operated by Google) solely to read the channel information described above for YouTube creators. We do not currently integrate with Instagram's API in any way.
Collado's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple are used only to verify who you are.
You can request a copy of your data, or request that we delete your account and all associated data, at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions for how.
